Compassion That Creates Lasting Impact
Impactful Supports Hub was founded by Greg and Mel, a husband-and-wife team who share a deep commitment to supporting people, families and communities in meaningful ways. After both working in the disability and human services sectors for several years, they saw the difference that genuine, consistent and person-centred support can make — especially when people feel truly seen, heard and understood.
Mel is a counsellor and Behaviour Support Practitioner who has always been drawn to supporting complex individuals and families. She brings a practical, compassionate and straight-talking approach to her work, and does not shy away from a challenge. Mel is passionate about understanding the person behind the behaviour and helping support teams build strategies that create real change in everyday life.
Greg is a compassionate Indigenous man with a nurturing nature and a strong sense of care for others. His pathway began in human services before moving into disability support, where his calm presence, patience and ability to build trust became central to the way he works. Greg brings warmth, cultural connection and genuine respect to the people and families he supports.
After experiencing significant personal impacts in their own lives, Greg and Mel were driven to reflect on what truly mattered to them. That reflection led them to follow their passion and create a service built on family values, connection, integrity and the belief that support should leave a lasting impact.
Impactful Supports Hub was created with a simple but powerful purpose: to make a real difference. Whether that means helping someone feel safer, more confident, more independent or more connected, Greg and Mel believe that meaningful support has the power to leave the world — or even one person’s life — a little better than it was before.
Our Mission
To deliver disability supports that are thoughtful, reliable and built around what matters most to each person.
At Impactful Supports Hub, our mission is to provide practical support that helps people navigate everyday life with greater confidence, safety and direction. We focus on understanding individual needs, reducing barriers and creating supports that are realistic, consistent and easy to use across home, community and care environments.
We are committed to working with honesty, respect and purpose. Through strong collaboration, clear communication and skilled support, we aim to help participants build independence, strengthen their support networks and move toward goals that genuinely improve their day-to-day life.
